Some people don’t need fancy words or grand actions to inspire others. Their simplicity, wit, determination and the will to take on life’s challenges as they come, does it naturally, and, Hempushpa, is definitely one of them.
Hempushpa, is currently a 2nd year student at Miranda House, pursuing BA Programme with Political Science and Physical Education. She is also a frisbee champion and has been a part of several tournaments where she has often won accolades. A combination of academics and physical education perfectly reflects her personality, which is balanced, focused, and energetic.
When we asked her about her goal in life, her answer was simple yet beautiful:
“To become a good, hardworking and humble person.”
Honestly, that says a lot about who she is as a person. In today’s fast-moving world, choosing “kindness” and “humility” as life goals is something truly admirable. It reflects her maturity and intentionality. Not to forget, she certainly has professional dreams as well, Hempushpa hopes to work as a manager in a company someday– a dream she holds very close to her heart.
Knowing her emotional and mental resilience, never say never attitude and amazing leadership skills, that dream definitely seems possible!
Whether it’s managing responsibilities, working with consistency and determination towards her future, or simply staying grounded, Hempushpa represents the kind of youthful and vibrant energy that makes a difference quietly but, strongly.
At LUF, we love celebrating students not just for their academic achievements, but for the people they inspire to become one day and Hempushpa’s journey is a lovely reminder that success shines brightest when paired with humility, self awareness and inner strength.
We wish her lots of happiness, positivity, growth, and success for the future ahead.
