Alternative Education is a medium to get into mainstream education
Little Umbrella started its alternative education program since 2014 through which till now we have helped more than 10000 children
Our versatile students and teachers are from diverse cultures and backgrounds, belonging to different parts of the country who are unified by ONE common belief that, ‘Education Is For All’ and no one should be ever barred from the right to education due to lack of resources and funds.
Little Umbrella Foundation is a highly innovative Delhi based non-profit organization that has been
working diligently for the underprivileged children living in our society for the last seven years. At Little
Umbrella Foundation we understand the importance of focusing upon the overall mental, emotional and
physical development of a child and it goes without saying that quality education plays an extremely
crucial role in this.
However, over the past one year providing high quality, uninterrupted education to the children has
been quite challenging due to the grave impact that COVID-19 had on almost every aspect of our lives.
But as a child-centric organization, we firmly believe that children should not be deprived of getting
access to education or opportunities to discover and enhance their inner talent and creativity and in
order to achieve this we truly feel that ‘money’ should not be a factor that should stop the young, bright
children of India from receiving a quality education.
Thus, keeping this basic fact in mind Little Umbrella Foundation came up with the brilliant idea of
launching an online platform- VIRTUAL VIDYALAYA, in which basic education, skill development
training, online workshops and super fun extracurricular activities like music, dance, art, craft, yoga,
etc would be provided to the students at a very nominal rate, cost of which is around ₹500-₹1000/-
per month. But Little Umbrella Foundation will be availing this beautiful gift of “quality education” to the
students for absolutely FREE OF COST!
Therefore, we are humbly requesting this monetary donation to fulfil the amount so that we can
further arrange for the logistics and other basic requirements to ensure the smooth functioning of our
Virtual Vidyalaya classes. We are also planning on providing Advance Certificate Classes and Affiliated
Courses in the near future for our little wonders! Thus, we need your genuine help and support for
creating the minimum setup that is required to run this project on a long term basis so that we can
ensure that maximum children are benefitted through this noble initiative in the coming years.
